Norton Mobile Security App Reviews

GDTH, I wish I had read these reviews first: I just realized I have been had!!! Now, my devices are LESS SECURE than before the installation - Norton now has My private info without providing web security across the board on my Macs AND IOS devices as advertised! DO NOT USE THIS APP w/o a full understanding that it does not do what it does on your Macs. IOW, its a ruse! Completely misleading, IMO, fraud! We have lawyers in the family. I think Ill ask them to review this matter. Do the same. Also, file a complaint with FTC.gov and your secretary of states office.

Dont pay for this if you think you are getting iPad or iPhone virus protection. You dont!!! Just back up of contacts and find my phone. Which I did NOT need!! Apple does all that. This is not what I paid for! Fortunately Im disputing the charge when it comes in on my card!

Absolute joke. No actual protection at all. Should not even be legal to charge for this.

I bought this because i was having a problem with spam on my Icloud calendar. No anti-virus, no scanning, just a duplicate of apple! What a disappointment.

If I could give this no stars I would. Shame on you Norton. This "mobile" protection does nothing but what Apple already does. I just renewed today and paid for the deluxe version thinking I could trust Norton as I have used them for years. Going to request my money back and switch to a competitor.

I pushed delete on the app it was I had so many days to think about than push yes to change my mind I didnt touch it re up it I even sent a message to have it canceled this is wrong how dare u you need to make it right $9.99 isnt a lot to some people but when youre paying for something that youre not even using did not asked to renew for only only the trial that was it its wrong your thefts

Cross platform household. Hubby has Norton for Windows. Asked me to download for my mobile iOS device. "WHY?!," I asked. He didnt believe it was secure. Read the user reviews, told him I didnt need to because it wouldnt work. He said Apple users were doing it wrong. HAHAHAHAHA Downloaded it because I could and to prove him wrong. Showed him the two wonderful (sarcasm) features available for iOS. Sorry honey, "I told you so." Apple has it covered. So now the 203rd, and an additional bad review. DO NOT download for iOS. Dont even try; weve already done that for you.

Norton should advise in LARGE BOLD PRINT that antivirus and spyware products DO NOT work on iPhone and iPad.

This is not a virus protection! It will only backup your contacts and locate your phone if lost - this is already FREE! Biggest rip off!

Do NOT waste your license installing this product on your iPhone. Apple already includes the find your phone feature. Norton does NOT provide anti-virus or malware protection on IOS. Works fine on my Mac and Windows machines but pretending to work on an iPhone? Thats just wrong. Shame on you, Symantec!!!

Truly pathetic app. I really regret paying $20 for this. It does NOTHING my iPhone or iPad couldnt already do. Do not waste your money - I wish I would have read the reviews before buying.

But they still take a seat from your license. Please Make Norton Great Again

Security back up loads continuously and never completes! The locate portion you have to have the app running to locate your lost phone! Really???

I purchased a 10 device package to cover 2 Windows computers, 4 iPhones and 4 iPads. Works great with Windows but does not have any antivirus protection for Apple devices!!! Cant return it because "its opened!" Absolutely a waste of money if you want to protect apple based devices.

You would think a "security" company would offer truthful and not misleading information. If you think that they provide actual protection on multiple devices, it is entirely a stretch of the truth. They provide "Find your phone" which you can already do on your apple device, and back up your contacts - again, you can do that without paying anything. Once this years subscription runs out, Im going to search for a different provider since I cannot believe that Norton truly protects my information if they so willingly mislead their customers.

Totally and utterly useless - it just does not work. A complete and highly irritating waste of time.

The app does NOT work with an iPad that has a Wi-Fi connection. You got to have 3G or 4G , they have to FIX this.

Crap! Cant activate it. Doesnt work. Had to leave it 1 star as there is no 0 star category.
